Cantilever Lift
Simple, reliable design for boats and pontoons
The original Hewitt Lift continues to be one of our most popular models. These rugged general purpose lifts have a natural mechanical advantage that actually makes operation easier as the boat is raised higher. Cantilever Lifts also have a long history of trouble-free performance. They require few moving parts for superior reliability and place less stress on pulleys and cables. In the lift’s fully raised position, cables carry no weight, the load is entirely supported by the frame. Corrosion resistant aluminum construction also assures low maintenance – no rust, no painting.
Standard Model
Standard Cantilever Lifts include self-adjusting cradles and keel protectors, manual winch and rubber end caps. Deluxe rubber cradles and keel protectors are available as options. Capacities range from 1200 to 4800 lbs.
Wide ‘N’ Long Model
These Cantilever Lifts are solidly built and heavily reinforced for today’s extra wide, extra long craft. They are also an ideal lift for larger pontoon boats, with interior frame dimensions up to 115".
Pontoon Kits
A variety of pontoon cradle kits can be installed in place of the standard boat cradles. Options include wood and adjustable aluminum rack kits that lift under the pontoon’s deck and serve as positioning guides. There are also two styles designed to cradle the pontoons: an adjustable aluminum model and a wood “V” bed covered with marine carpeting for full length protection.

Heavy-Duty All-Aluminum Construction
Hewitt
takes no shortcuts. Some lift makers use nothing more than a bolt for critical pivot joints. Hewitt Lifts are designed with double-reinforced pivots that are made with structural aluminum tubing and welded, through-hole construction – superior strength for superior reliability. |
 |
Extra Reinforcing
It is not unusual for poorly built lifts to sway or even break when subjected to frequent use. Hewitt Lifts are built for the real world. Crossbars are reinforced with extra large gussets, providing greater lateral stability and overall strength. |
 |
Pulley Boxes
While lesser brands may simply bolt pulleys to the frame, Hewitt Lifts have specially designed enclosures. Pulley assemblies are mounted in reinforced plate aluminum boxes that are welded directly to the frame. Cantilever Lifts also use fewer pulleys and all parts are easily accessible for reduced maintenance. |

Hi-Lift Vertical Lift
Straight up, straight
down – A lift for deep water or changing levels
The Hewitt Hi-Lift is an
economical, direct vertical rise lift that is ideally suited for
deeper water applications or sites where water levels may
fluctuate. These lifts are based on simple, proven technology but
are distinguished by Hewitt’s rock-solid construction and unique
frame design. Hewitt Hi-Lifts incorporate side bars that provide
greater stability than “V”-style side designs. Side bars are also
set lower for easier boat access. Some competitors’ side bars are
adjustable, but the design limits maximum lift height. Seven
models provide lifting capacities ranging from 1100 lbs. to 6600
lbs.

The ultimate for speed, convenience and lifting capacity
Like Hewitt Hydraulic Cantilever Lifts, these models offer the
convenience of push button or wireless remote control operation.
Additionally, they can raise and lower boats in seconds. You’ll
never hesitate to use your boat again. The Hydraulic Lift series
also offers a wider range of models with capacities from 4,400
lbs. to a massive 10,100 lbs. With optional bracing and leg kits,
these lifts can be used in water up to 8' deep. Wherever you look,
you’ll see unsurpassed quality and construction durability in
Hewitt Hydraulic Lifts.
Hydraulics All models include a locking
water resistant chest that houses the hydraulic pump and control
system. For DC models, the chest also provides space for housing
batteries. The hydraulic system uses biodegradable hydraulic
fluid that will not harm lakes or rivers. The fluid’s
anti-freezing properties also simplifies winter storage. A
translucent fluid reservoir makes it easy to check fluid level
at a glance. Models up to the 6,100 lb. capacity are equipped
with two hydraulic cylinders, while the 10,100 lb. model uses
four cylinders to meet the higher load requirement. Standard
cylinders have long-lasting seals designed for underwater use

The best way to lift a pontoon
Hewitt’s Narrow Pontoon Lifts safely and easily raise and lower
even the longest pontoon boats. Full-length beams are positioned
between the pontoons, not beneath them. This design evenly
distributes weight to the boat’s deck, eliminating any risk of
damage to the pontoons. Narrow Pontoon Lifts are available in
three standard sizes: 2000 lb. - 20' length, 2400 lb. - 24' length
and 3000 lb. - 28' length. These lifts are built to the same high
standards of durability that are a trademark of all Hewitt
Lifts.
Features
- Heavy-duty all-aluminum construction – corrosion resistant,
low maintenance.
- Acetal delrin plastic pulleys and stainless steel cable.
Pulleys and cable remain completely out of the water in the
lift’s “up” position.
When the lift is fully raised, there is
also no stress on the cables - the load is entirely on the frame
which further extends cable life.
- Standard manual self-braking winch with 40" wheel and
spinner knob included on Model 2000.
- Hewitt high-efficiency winch with 40" wheel and spinner knob
included on Models 2400 and 3000. Fully-enclosed chain drive
provides a 15:1 or 20:1 gear ratio.

Optional Offset Winch Arm Offers
additional flexibility and convenience for existing dock
configurations. Allows the winch to be operated from the
side rather than from the
front. |

BoatPort Floating Boat Lift
Floating lifts are the deep water solution
BoatPort Floating Lifts are the perfect
companion for floating docks. They are ideal for deep water
applications but can be used in as little as 4 to 8 feet of water
(dependent on lift size). Hewitt BoatPorts are designed and sized
for virtually every type of watercraft, including fishing boats,
ski boats, pontoon boats and performance boats. There are even
models specially designed for personal watercraft like Waverunners
or Seadoos. Standard boat models come in a range of capacities
from 2000 lbs. to 10,000 lbs. Models for pontoon boats range from
4500 lbs. to 8000 lbs. and PWC Lifts are available in 1200 and
2400 lb. sizes. Custom-built models are also available for larger
craft, such as cruisers.
Installation
Requirements BoatPort Lifts may be installed on almost
any structurally sound aluminum, steel or wood floating dock that
has an “L” or “U”-shaped configuration. There must be at least one
walkway finger or pier extending down the side of the boat. The
lift attaches to the dock at the front and is stabilized on one or
both sides with a locking arm upright. When correctly installed,
the lift is securely locked into the dock, and both float in
unison. Lift and dock work together in rough water conditions to
prevent undue stress on either structure. Lift operation requires
access to a 115V AC receptacle. Optionally, a small portable
generator may be used to power the lift pump. BoatPort Lifts have
been installed on stationary docks. However in such installations,
water levels must not rise or fall more than a total of 16
inches.

 Front mounting
bracket |
Do-It-Yourself Detailed
assembly/installation instructions are included with every lift.
The lift can be assembled on land, moved to a landing on a boat
trailer, placed in the water and towed to the dock for
mounting.
Lift Operation Your
BoatPort Lift includes an electric pump that raises and lowers the
lift by changing the buoyancy of the flotation tanks. A simple
turn of a lever is all it takes. The pump is housed in a water
resistant poly enclosure with a key locking lid. The pump is also
equipped with a GFI receptacle for added convenience. The amount
of time needed to fully raise the lift depends on the weight of
the boat. In general, it takes approximately one minute per 1,000
pounds of boat weight.
Features
- Hot-dipped galvanized steel
frames. 3/16" thick, 2” x 5" structural steel tubing is used for
all standard boat and pontoon models. PWC Lifts are constructed
from 1/8" thick, 2" x 3" rectangular tubing.
- Frames are welded, not bolted,
for greater strength and durability.
- Heavy-duty, UV-protected
polyethylene flotation tanks. 3/8" to 1/2" tapered wall
thickness with structural ribs for added strength.
- Top-mounted float tanks keep all
metal parts and hardware completely out of the water in the
lift’s raised position.
- Adjustable, marine carpeted bunk
systems.
- Corrosion resistant
materials used throughout – suitable for both freshwater and
saltwater applications.
